Features & Benefits
Brake pads are designed to provide reliable performance for the everyday driver. Our brake pads use platform specific friction materials with both Organic and Semi-Metallic formulations. If you are experiencing longer stopping distances or if your brakes are squealing, Duralast Pads are a good replacement choice for you.
Semi-Metallic friction formula
Reliable stopping performance
Single layer steel shim for noise dampening
Powder coated backing plate to resist corrosion
Comprehensive vehicle coverage.

- Brake Fluids Fill
- Brake Systeme Inspection
Features & Benefits
DOT 3 brake fluid is formulated to provide superior performance in high temperature braking systems found in today’s automobiles and trucks. Compatible with all conventional brake fluids.
- Meets or exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 4 specifications
- Substantially reduces the possibility of fluid vaporization and eventual brake failure as a result of vapor lock by maintaining a high wet boiling point
- Provides protection against corrosion for all metals within the braking system
- Recommended for all ABS, disc, and drum brakes systems as well as hydraulic clutches requiring DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids
Resurface or Replacement Rotors
Resurfacing Your Rotors.
Sometimes your rotors may need to be resurfaced because they have worn unevenly, warped from heat, or become damaged by worn brake pads or pitted from corrosion or rust. Resurfacing rotors removes some of their metal, until the surface is smooth and even again. However, every rotor has a minimum thickness that is established by the vehicle manufacturer. If the rotor requires resurfacing and cannot maintain the minimum thickness, it will have to be replaced.
Resurfacing also:
Eliminates pitting and other problems
Restores a flat, smooth surface to your rotors
Allows as much of each brake pad as possible to touch each rotor for better friction
Minimizes noise and vibrations when you brake
Your rotors may not have to be resurfaced when the pads are replaced if they’re relatively smooth and have minimal grooving.
Brake Booster Replacement
Replace the brake booster, will have to take out the master braking cylinder as well as the hydraulic lines and booster vacuum (in a vacuum-based braking system). Then he will be able to remove the braking booster. Once that’s out, he can put in the new one and reattach all the parts he had to remove.
Then test the brakes to ensure everything is connected properly and that it works the way it should. This will almost always include a road test to see how the vehicle performs with the new braking booster.
